8th Asean Science and Technology Week
The most recent exhibit sponsored by DOST-TAPI dubbed 8th ASEAN Science and Technology Week held at the World Trade Center at Pasay City on July 7-11, 2008 was a success. The exhibit was visited by different professionals from various sectors of the industry as well as students. Foreign countries from Europe to Asia also participated in the event.
Alexan featured new products that include in-house designed OEM products for the export market, the PICMe MCU Starter Kit, FPRDI wood moisture meter and the newest robot kits -- I-Robo and Bioloid. The latter was the attention-grabber of our booth. In fact, not only did the children enjoyed the exhibition performed by our Bioloid puppy, even college students and professionals were enthralled and amazed by it. On the other hand, the I-ROBO kits were built to perform line tracing functions and avoidance functions.
All-in-all, the event was a hit.
